Bitcoin still fails to reach 65k for FOREXCOM:BTCUSD by FOREXcom

A new trading week begins, and BTC is once again showing a neutral dynamic in its average price movements. For now, price action remains close to the 0. 05% area on average and has still not managed to move clearly toward the 65k reference level. In this context, a phase of market indecision is beginning to stand out. Alternative assets such as the U. S. dollar have regained strength, limiting the return of risk appetite for assets like BTC in the short term. If this dynamic continues, neutrality could remain relevant over the next few trading sessions, especially if other assets continue to reduce the appeal of the cryptocurrency market. Long bearish trend line continues to dominate the market:Since October 2025, average BTC price movements have followed the formation of a long bearish trend line. Despite the recovery attempt seen in previous sessions, this structure remains the most important technical reference in the short term. As long as buying pressure fails to break above relevant barriers, this trend line could continue to dominate price action over the coming weeks. For now, the technical formation does not yet appear to be at risk on the daily chart. MACD:Recent movements in the MACD indicator show a histogram rising above the neutral 0 line. This suggests that the average strength of short-term moving averages has started to tilt in favor of buyers. If the histogram continues to show consistent gains, the buying pressure observed in previous sessions could remain somewhat relevant on the chart. RSI:The behavior of the RSI, however, shows a slightly different reading. The indicator has started to flatten near the neutral 50 line, suggesting a balance between short-term bullish and bearish momentum. This indicates that, rather than dominant buying pressure, the market could be entering a phase of indecision. If this dynamic continues, the RSI would still point to room for sideways moves or a more prolonged consolidation phase in BTC over the next few trading sessions. Key levels to watch:71,100 – Main resistance:This level corresponds to an area of highs from previous weeks and stands above the barrier marked by the 50-period simple moving average. For this reason, it represents one of the most important resistance levels for the current bullish moves. If price manages to reach this area, it could put the current bearish trend line at risk and open the door to a more relevant buying bias over the coming weeks. 65,800 – Near-term barrier:This level corresponds to a nearby retracement area that coincides with the 50-period simple moving average. If price begins to lose strength around this reference, a clearer phase of indecision could be reinforced. Under this scenario, the market could enter a consolidation structure or even form a sideways range over the next few trading sessions. 58,700 – Main support:This area coincides with the 2026 lows and currently represents the most important bearish barrier to watch. If price moves back toward this level, the dominant selling bias from previous weeks could be reactivated, potentially extending the bearish trend line over the coming weeks.
