Amina Bank Expands Stablecoin Capabilities Across 300+ Providers With Mesh - Blockzeit

Swiss-regulated Amina Bank has partnered with Mesh to widen the capabilities and connectivity of itsstablecoinnetwork across more than 300 providers. Amina Bank (formerlySeba Bank), a Swiss-regulated crypto bank, is expanding its coverage in the stablecoin and digital asset ecosystem with a major partnership. On Thursday, itannouncedan integration with Mesh, a leading crypto payments network. What Mesh Brings to the TableThe partnership will enable Amina’s clients to verify wallet ownership more easily. It will also offer unified, streamlined flows for stablecoin and other digital asset deposits. The system spans more than 300 wallet providers, making it one of the most comprehensive integrations in digital assets banking. The collaboration eliminates the friction and risks typically associated with manual copying of wallet addresses, constantly switching between external tools, and completingKYC(Know Your Customer) requirements at every step across multiple platforms. Reducing Friction in Stablecoin Wallet Verification and DepositMiles Harrison, Chief Product Officer at Amina, highlighted that despite the significant progress crypto has achieved in terms of adoption, it’s still rife with cumbersome processes. It’s very evident when moving assets between different platforms and regulated financial institutions. For instance, clients depositing in a bank usually have to go through rigorous wallet-signing procedures on external platforms. Additionally, they have to deal with multi-step manual processes. The Mesh integration aims to reduce the activity to just a few clicks. Clients only have to verify their wallet provider and ownership, and then they can proceed with their deposit without added hassle. A Phased Rollout for Amina BankAmina only supports deposits at the initial phase of the partnership. The next phase will focus on streamlining wallet verification during client onboarding. Harrison revealed that the bank plans to extend its capabilities to withdrawals and payouts in the future, as it builds the infrastructure where stablecoins and digital assets can move at scale. Stablecoin Adoption Throughout the GlobeCiting a study by Bessemer Venture Partners, the Amina executive noted that real-world stablecoin payments have doubled in 2025 to $400 billion. The paper attributed around 60% of the float to B2B (Business-to-Business) payments. The firm expects the trend to gain momentum further as stablecoins emerge as the world’s “new global money layer. ”Meanwhile, Bitwise’s second-quarter (Q2)insightscomplement the bullish outlook for stablecoins. Despite the continued bearishsentiment in the crypto market, the asset manager sees more room for stablecoins’ growth as they bridge traditional finance (TradFi) and crypto while “riding a new wave of Wall Street adoption. ”What’s your Reaction?+10+10+10+10+10+10+10Giancarlo PerlasGiancarlo is an economist by profession with a career spanning nearly two decades.
